Sewer Repair Service for Homes and Commercial Properties

A sewer repair service locates and repairs damage in the buried pipe that carries waste water from your building to the city main. That pipe stays buried for decades, leaving sewer problems out of sight until something backs up.

Sewer pipes are tough, but they don’t last forever. If your building was built 50 or 60 years ago, or earlier, the line is probably already falling apart. The same goes for a residential sewer line beneath a family lawn or a failing pipe under a commercial parking lot, which means getting wastewater flowing again with as little digging as possible.

Do You Need a Sewer Repair? 6 Signs of a Failing Sewer Line

There are usually warning signs of a broken sewer line before there is a complete backup. Can you see at least two of these? Check the line.

Catching them early can save you from a bigger repair and water damage inside your home.

Our Sewer Repair Process

From the first camera run to the final check, here’s what to expect.

01

Camera Inspection First

A sewer camera inspection shows where the damage sits and what caused it, whether it’s roots, a belly, or a collapse, so you know to repair or replace.

02

Clean and Prep the Line

Roots, grease, and debris get cleared out of the pipe first. A clean line gives the repair a solid surface and shows the full damage more clearly.

03

Repair or Replace the Pipe

Based on the footage, the line is relined from the inside or replaced by pipe bursting, working through a cleanout or small pits instead of a trench.

04

Final Camera Check

Once the work is done, the camera goes back down the line so you can see the finished sewer pipe for yourself before the crew leaves the site.

Sewer Line Repair and Replacement Options With Minimal Digging

Traditional sewer repair meant a backhoe and a trench across the property Trenchless sewer repair works differently. The camera footage shows what your pipe needs, and then the right method fixes it through one or two small openings. Restore Pipe Systems is a certified installer of trenchless pipe lining systems.

The Fix That Fits

What's Wrong With Your Sewer Line

Cracks or small breaks

Pipe relining (CIPP) forms a new pipe inside the old one, through an existing cleanout, with little or no digging.

Leaking joints

Relining seals the joints from the inside, so wastewater stops escaping into the soil.

Tree roots getting in

Roots are cleared first, then relining seals the cracks and joints they used to get in.

Broken or collapsed pipe

Pipe bursting pulls a new pipe through the old one, using two small pits instead of a trench.

Too damaged to reline or burst

Traditional excavation. The camera inspection tells you before any ground gets opened.

Why are your drivers (company trucks) running STOP signs in residential neighborhoods with children present? This happened at 4:55 PM Saturday March 28th 2026 in Mendon, Utah. Driver was in a white shirt and tie headed to the church of Jesus Christ latter-day Saints If I see your company trucks running the stop sign in my neighborhood again I’m turning that license plate into the police ! NOT HAPPY

Scott is the man!! We had been dealing with low water pressure for a month. After talking to the city twice and a visit from a plumber. We were referred to excavation companies to dig up our front yard. After finding out the cost of excavation, I decided to call Restore Pipe Systems. Scott showed up the same day and took a look at our valves, and water tank. He got those broken items replaced in no time and contacted the city for me. He stayed and told them what he had found. It was not a pipe in my yard after all, but we had low flow from the city. I felt so relieved of stress, less money out of my pocket, the job was done and we're back to full pressure showers again! Thank you Scott! Restore Pipe Systems will be my go to from here on out.

A diamond pendant that belonged to my mom fell off the chain and into my sink; it was a family heirloom. My granddaughter has worn it for special occasions, proms, graduation photos, etc. We were heartbroken and sick!! Restore Pipe Systems was referred to me by a friend, thank goodness! Scott came out; he located it in 10 mins at no charge! What a fantastic company, so kind and compassionate!! Thanks again, Scott!

Why Choose Us

Here's Why Our Clients Love Us

We finish many of our jobs the same day. No waiting on a dig crew, and no trench left open across your yard.

Since digging is minimal, you skip the cost of replacing large amounts of landscaping or concrete, and the bigger cleanup a traditional pipe replacement leaves behind.

Most pipelines can be replaced through an existing cleanout or just two small holes, an entrance pit and an exit pit, so your lawn and driveway stay put.

Common Questions

Sewer Line Repair Questions, Answered

How do I know if I need sewer line repair or just drain cleaning?

If a clog clears and stays clear, drain cleaning was enough. If backups return after a plumber clears the line, or several drains slow down at once, the pipe itself may be damaged. A sewer inspection settles it by showing buildup, cracks, bellies, or roots. If it’s only buildup, routine sewer maintenance such as hydro jetting can keep your sewer line flowing.

When you add everything up, trenchless usually costs less. When you dig, the pipe work is just part of the bill. You also pay to put back the lawn, landscaping, and concrete or asphalt, and that damage to your property adds up. Trenchless work needs only small entry and exit points, so there’s far less to restore. A free estimate gives you real numbers for your line.

Depends on the length of the line, how badly it’s damaged, and how easy it is to get to. Relining can be done in as little as one day. For larger commercial lines and full replacements, it may take longer. The camera inspection provides a better timeline prior to starting work.

Yes. Many older clay, cast iron, and Orangeburg lines can be repaired using trenchless methods. Your unit can be repaired or replaced depending on its condition. If the pipe is in good condition, relining will seal cracks and joints from the inside. If it’s broken or badly damaged, pipe bursting is used to replace it.

Of course. We repair sewer lines for single-family homes, apartment buildings, condos, townhome complexes, and commercial properties. Trenchless repair means less disruption to tenants and customers for property managers, with less ground torn up and fewer blocked parking areas.

Yes, it is completely free. If you’ve been told by another company that your only option is to dig up your yard or driveway, it’s worth getting a second opinion. You can also learn whether a trenchless option is available for your line so you can fully compare your repair and replacement options.
