Pipe Bursting Bountiful, UT

Trenchless pipe bursting is a technologically advanced sewer repair approach that has been available to real estate owners in the Bountiful, Utah area for the last fifteen years or so. If you are unfamiliar with the procedure there is a definitive reason. Far too many plumbing contractors are literally and figuratively stuck in the mud. They would rather continue to use large, noisy, and environmentally unfriendly construction equipment to dig trenches in order to reach the sewer pipeline for repairs or replacement.

These companies are afraid to adopt new technology even though it saves their customers a considerable amount of money and time, and avoids the destruction of their landscaping and hardscaping. There are some plumbers that realize that trenchless pipe bursting is the wave of the future, however they lack the funds to invest in the new equipment and training that it takes to run the new equipment properly. Fortunately a few forward thinking plumbing contractors, like Restore Pipe Systems have both the insight and capital investment to offer their customers a far superior sewer repair method.

At this point you may curious as to how the trenchless pipe bursting process actually works. It does not require the excavation of a large and destructive trench along the entire length of the sewer pipes in order to expose the pipeline for replacement. Instead two small access points are made, one at each end of the sewer pipeline. A high-tech machine uses the access points to install a one-piece, continuous plastic PVC pipe into the existing sewer pipeline. The old sewer pipeline bursts outward into a bunch of fragmented pieces as the machine pushes, pulls, and blows the new pipe through it.

The pieces of the old sewer pipes are naturally disbursed into the ground surrounding the newly installed sewer pipeline where they are left to harmlessly rot away. Once the process is complete the access points are filled in as if they never existed, and the brand new plastic PVC pipe completely replaces the old, broken sewer pipeline. It takes as little as one day to complete the entire process from start to finish. In comparison, the traditional excavation method can take multiple weeks by the time the trench is dug, the existing sewer pipes are removed, a new sewer pipeline is installed, and the trench is filled back in with dirt.

Trenchless pipe bursting is approximately fifty-percent more cost effective as well. The new plastic PVC sewer pipeline may very well last for over one hundred years. The traditional excavation method provides absolutely zero advantages to the property owner. It costs significantly more money, takes considerably more time, and causes a tremendous amount of damage. Thanks to trenchless pipe bursting you no longer a need to sit by and watch as your lawn, trees, flowers, shrubbery, mulch beds, driveway, patio, walkway, sidewalk, or parking lot are destroyed.
